A Little Bit About Us

Jah-Jireh Retirement Homes are private non-profit retirement homes for Jehovah's Witnesses.

We want our elderly brothers and sisters to be able to enjoy their golden years in a spiritual environment. Each morning begins with a discussion of the daily text, followed by a five to ten minute Bible reading. On Monday evening our family studies the Watchtower together. Congregation book study and field service arrangements are held at the home. As the apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:58, there is still "plenty to do in the work of the Lord."

We know that you will agree that they deserve an evironment that will keep them spiritually healthy and happy. Jehovah has always taken care of the elderly in Bible times by means of his people.

In Leviticus 19:32 Jehovah asked that the older ones must be "shown consideration" and in Proverbs 3:27 we are told to "not hold back good from those whom it is owing, when it happens to be in the power of your hand to do it." Also 1 John 3:17 tells us that we should "not shut the door of our tender compassion."

It is with this sense of responsibility towards our elderly brothers and sisters that Jah-Jireh Retirement Home was organized by our brothers who saw this great need among our elderly. We pray that Jehovah's blessing wil be on this provision, as we continue to give loving care to our older dear ones.
